Film, Video, and Music Production
The music videos, music, TV shows, and flicks we enjoy stem from film, video, and music production. While it may look like a carefree, artistic procedure, it is really quite laborious needing sometimes hundreds of pros to complete. There are five defined steps in the procedure.
Development – This is where ideas pass, where executives toss ideas, writers compose and the concept is hammered out. A script is penned to tell a story in 2 hours or less, if it is a motion picture. If it’s a television show, roles and story lines are determined to take it (hopefully) into 6 or 7 seasons. And if it’s a music video, or a briefer type video, the executives would adjudicate how to best showcase the talent (the band) and which song will be used. While indeed, there are plenty more steps in the growth process involving agents, managers, producers, stars, directors etc., growth is the foremost step in the motion picture, video, and music production procedure.
Pre-production – As soon as the development procedure is complete, the project goes into pre-production.This is when sound stages and sets are built, locations are reconnoitered for shooting, actors are auditioned and employed, directors are chosen, and legal sections do their work. The project, which was a blueprint in the development procedure, begins to take become fruition.
Production – This is the actual shooting or recording of the movie, television show, song or music video. For weeks, and often months, whole film crews descend on a far location or on a studio back lot and what was written by the author in the development procedure is actually taken to film. What we enjoy to see in theaters and at home are the outcomes of tiring work put in by the crew.
Post-Production – This is the portion of the procedure where the new footage taken during production is edited; the sound is blended and companion music and sound effects are scored and integrated over the film.
Sales and distribution – Future purchasers screen the film which lasted months to complete and was eventually finished for distribution and advertising. The billboards, the buses, the commercials or on-line ads we see are all aspects of the fantastic marketing process.
These 5 intricate measures are what constitute the flick, video, and music production process.
